Nancy Dowd named Petcha Kucha Panelist

Nancy Dowd, Director of Marketing for the New Jersey State Library, has been invited to join a panel of nationally recognized innovators in the library field at Information Today’s Internet Librarian Conference to be held this October. Dowd will be joining Helene Blowers, Columbus Metropolitan Library; Stephen Abram, SirsiDynix; Greg Schwartz, Louisville Free Public Library; Rebecca Jones, Dysart & Jones Associates; and Elaina Norlin, OCLC in a discussion entitled, A Pecha Kucha Conversation Face-Off. Pecha Kucha is Japanese for the sound of conversation and represents a fast-paced series of presentations. Each of the panelists has 6 minutes and 40 seconds along with 20 images to express their opinion about planning and management strategies and techniques in libraries. Dowd will be addressing marketing strategies for libraries.
